SAMS news:

SAMS Long Course Championships:

2019: Port Elizabeth, Nelson Mandela Bay Metro, Eastern Cape Province.

Nelson Mandela Bay Aquatics Masters will host the 35th South African Masters Swimming Long Course Championships in March 2019.

The Championships will be held at the Newton Park indoor 50m pool (cnr 2nd Avenue & Worraker Street) in Port Elizabeth (Nelson Mandela Bay Metro) in the Eastern Cape Province.

The Open Water Championships will be held at the Marina Martinique in Jeffreys Bay.

Dates (NOT CONFIRMED YET): Pool from Wednesday 20th to Saturday 23rd March 2019. Open Water on Wednesday 20th March 2019.

SAMS Short Course Championships:   

The SAMS Short Course Championships are held each year during October as a “Postal” type Championships where each Region is at liberty to hold a leg of these Championships and send in their results for consolidation.

The events are changed from year to year using a 2 year cycle. The order of the events may be changed by SAMS but every Region must adhere to the same programme as published by SAMS.
